What side effects can this medication cause?

Side effects from aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide are not common. To avoid the chalky taste, take with water or milk. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away:

  • diarrhea
  • constipation
  • loss of appetite
  • unusual tiredness
  • muscle weakness
