What side effects can this medication cause?
Amiloride and hydrochlorothiazide may cause side effects. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away:

- vomiting
- diarrhea
- loss of appetite
- stomach pain
- gas
- frequent urination
- dizziness
- headache

- muscle weakness or cramps
- fatigue
- slow or irregular heartbeat
- sore throat
- unusual bleeding or bruising
- yellowing of the skin or eyes
- skin rash
- difficulty breathing or swallowing
