What side effects can this medication cause?

Aminophylline may cause side effects. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away.

• upset stomach
• stomach pain
• diarrhea
• headache
• restlessness
• insomnia
• irritability

If you experience any of the following symptoms, call your doctor immediately:

• vomiting
• increased or rapid heart rate
• irregular heartbeat
• seizures
• skin rash
