Prevention of Anemia:

A healthy and balanced diet is the most effective solution to prevent anemia. Foods rich in vitamin B12, iron and folate should always be a part of your diet. A good source of iron can be found in meat, beef, beans and other dark green and leafy vegetables. Folate can also be found in citrus drinks and fruits. It is best to consult your physician for further evaluation once the diagnosis of anemia has been made.
