Penile cancer is a very rare type of cancer. If men notice a new sore or persistent lesion on their penis, they should seek medical attention. Chances are that it could be a symptom of penile cancer. Any abnormalities on the penis should be conveyed to the doctor at the earliest.
There are many other symptoms which should not be ignored. Shortness of breath, coughing and sneezing that do not resolve even after taking medicines. Change in the size of breast (one or both) should also be brought to the notice of the doctor. Continuous weight loss without any reason is another sign of changes in body function which should alert a man to see their health care provider.
