The experts have summarized some recommendations of diet from the practice of clinical care, as follows:
First, patient should take the food like, five cereals, fresh fruit and vegetables, cattle, sheep, pig meat, eggs, milk, and fish. Because of the medicinal properties in five cereals, patients with renal cyst disease should incorporate them into their daily lives.
Second, control the intake of high quality protein and pay attention to the supplement of high fiber and vitamin but the diet with low fat, proper sugar, especially the intake of animal protein, because it can lead the elevation of blood pressure.
Third, Renal Cyst patient should alternate work with rest.
Avoid fatigue, strenuous physical activity and abdominal trauma. Take frequent rest. If the kidney swelling obviously, it is suitable to use the hammock instead of waistband lest cause the rupture of cysts. In general, check the disease half a year and avoid every medicine with renal toxicity. It is also necessary for the relatives to take B- ultrasonic.
Fourth, the Renal Cyst patient should regulate the amount of sodium salt in daily life. It is should be strictly controlled according to the patient's condition and the degree of renal function. However, not all chronic renal insufficiency patients need to limit salt intake.
Fifth, Renal Cyst patients should control the intake amount of water.
When in the early stage of mild renal failure, due to the decline of concentrating ability of the kidney, free water may accumulate in the body and fluids may need to be restricted. However, if there is no obvious symptoms of edema, heart failure or hypertension, patients shouldn't limit the water intake.
Sixth, Renal Cyst patient should eat less spicy and greasy food.
Renal Cyst patient should avoid spicy foods (they contains pepper, liquid, shrimp, crab and so on), polluted food (it contains contaminants, bacteria, and parasites), or broiled dishes. People with renal insufficiency or uremia should also be instructed not to eat large amounts of beans, animal or other high protein foods.
