Congratulations on being awarded your own Healthocrates editor biography page! This means you are in good standing and a valued contributor to our site. You can use this page to introduce yourself and post some information. You can include information about yourself including links to papers published elsewhere. You can link back to your site too.
After your Healthocrates Biography page is posted live you can share the page with anyone on the internet. Show other people that you are an approved editor of a medically reviewed online medical wiki.

How to create your biography page
After making 5 successful posts or edits you will recieve a letter in your email telling you that you have been awarded your own member bio page. You will also notice when you log into your member profile page that the tickler message at the top counting down your first 5 posts is gone. Now at the bottom of your member profile page you will see a link that says "Add your page"

Add your content
You will then arrive at the actual edit page for creating your bio. You should be familiar with the Healthocrates text editor by now, if you need a quick refresher see our How do I edit page or go to our live sandbox page to use the editor in our practice environment.
You can use the browse button at the top of the page to upload a photo to your bio page. Enter the conent you would like displayed on your bio page in the content box. Press the submit button when you are done and the page will go to Healthocrates admin for approval. See the image below for more details

Editing your existing page
After Healthocrates admin has reviewed your page they will post it live. Once live you can easily access or edit your page at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of your member page. Below you will see an image of what the link will look like.

Linking back to your profile page
To obtain a link to your homepage so you can show it to ther people, you will click on the link in the above example on your homepage that says "See or Edit your page". You will then see a copy of your bio page as it will appear to the public. Scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see a box that says "Please copy this link to share your biography page!" Your link is inside that box. Highlight the text and press CTRL-C or highlight the text and right click --> 'copy' to copy your URL. Then simply paste it where you want to display it.
